Pass Plus can help you get to grips with parts of driving you may not have covered in much detail in your lessons. Alternatively, you could ask your driving instructor to take you for a couple of extra lessons in areas you're not confident about, such as motorway driving, after you've passed your test.

After paying a small fee (around £30) to join, you'll be eligible for free training. A typical advanced driving test will cost between £62 and £67, and if you achieve the gold or silver standard you'll be eligible for a free retest every three years.

Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely. It can be taken at any time although it should be most useful to new drivers in the year after passing their test.
